Young Entrepreneur Business Workbook: 4 Creative Worksheets for Kids

Young Entrepreneur Worksheets: Build, Brand, Promote & Advertise

What if kids could take a simple business idea and turn it into something that feels like a real brand?

This Young Entrepreneur Business Workbook is a four-part creative activity set designed to help kids explore entrepreneurship in a fun, practical way.

Each sheet focuses on a different part of building a business—from developing the brand to figuring out how to make money and finally creating an advertisement.

💡 Start With the Idea

Every business starts with an idea.

The first activities encourage kids to think about what they’re good at, what interests them, who they want to serve, and what kind of business they could create.

Kids can also build an inspiration board using colors, pictures, words, patterns, products, and other ideas that represent their vision.

It’s a simple way to turn “I want to start a business” into an actual concept.

🎨 Build Your Brand

A business needs more than a name.

Build Your Brand helps kids think about their customer, brand personality, colors, inspiration, and what makes their business different.

They begin creating a visual identity that feels like their business.

The goal is to help kids understand that branding is about creating something people can recognize and remember.

📣 Promote Your Brand

Once the brand is created, it needs to be seen.

Promote Your Brand gets kids thinking about where their business could show up and how they would connect with their audience.

They can explore social media, websites, events, pop-ups, content ideas, collaborations, and other ways to promote their business.

It introduces marketing in a way that feels familiar and easy to understand.

💰 Make It a Business

This is where the idea starts getting real.

Make It a Business introduces kids to pricing, costs, profit, customers, and different ways a business can operate.

Would their business have a physical location?

Would it be mobile?

Could it travel to events?

Would it operate from a truck, trailer, or online?

Kids also set a goal and think about the next steps they would take to grow their business.

✂️ Advertise Your Business

The final activity takes everything they’ve created and turns it into a hands-on project.

Students create a large business advertisement on poster board.

They can choose a magazine-style ad, newspaper ad, social media ad, flyer, promotional sale, or create their own advertising concept.

They can use magazine cutouts, newspaper clippings, printed pictures, online clip art, AI-generated images, photographs, lettering, drawings, and other creative materials.

The goal?

Make people stop. Make them look. Make them remember.

🚀 More Than a Worksheet

This collection gives kids an opportunity to practice creativity, communication, planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and basic business skills.

They aren’t just filling in blanks.

They’re building an idea, creating a brand, thinking about customers, planning the business, and learning how to advertise it.

And that’s what makes entrepreneurship so much fun—you never know where one little idea can go.

Think it. Build it. Brand it. Advertise it.
